Altaïr increases industrial capacity
expanding the Noyelles-lès-Seclin plant and opening a new R&D laboratory
To support its growth and respond to the increasing demand for eco-friendly and effective cleaning and maintenance solutions, Altaïr has announced a major expansion of its industrial plant located in Noyelles-lès-Seclin, as well as the opening of a new research and development laboratory in Saint-Brieuc.
An upgraded factory that has doubled in capacity.
The Noyelles-lès-Seclin factory has taken a decisive step with:
- 7 new packaging lines,
- 3 production tanks and 2 storage tanks for additional formulas,
- 270 m³ of bulk storage added for black soap and surfactants.
These investments will double the production volume, from 10,000 tonnes in 2024 to 20,000 tonnes in 2025, bringing the overall capacity to 30,000 tonnes. 45 new employees have been brought in to assist the plant with this ramp-up of power.
A new R&D hub in Brittany
Simultaneously, Altaïr has inaugurated a new R&D laboratory in Saint-Brieuc, Brittany, covering 200 m². Built on wasteland rehabilitated by the town, this place has become a real central innovation hub for the Côtes d’Armor department which is dedicated to designing increasingly effective and environmentally friendly products.
A forward-looking perspective
These investments are testament to Altaïr’s desire to fortify its local anchorage, support local employment and accelerate its role as a key player in the sustainable development in the maintenance and cleaning sector.
