Here at Altaïr, we believe that excellence, authenticity and responsibility are the cornerstones to reinventing the way we clean and care for our homes. Ever since our founding, we have made it our mission to offer solutions that combine performance and expertise, to transform each and every home into a place that is free from impurities, is pleasing to the eye and sustainable, all under one roof.

Through our iconic brands, including Starwax, Briochin, Marcel’s Green Soap and K.pro, we are proof that performance and environmental responsibility can go hand in hand. No one ever started a transformation alone; this is why we urged a coalition for more eco-friendly cleaning, rallying our partners around the cause of ecodesign, innovation and practices that reduce our impact on health and ecosystems.

The planet

As manufacturers, we are duty-bound to manage natural resources responsibly. Active in the circular economy, we favour short circuits, improve the recycling of our manufacturing waste and use recycled materials to minimise the impact of our packaging.
We follow an ambitious zero-carbon policy, with objectives approved by the SBTi for 2030, and roll out innovative projects to achieve these.

2030 objective

2030 objective: to cut down greenhouse gas emissions by 42% for scopes 1 and 2, and by 25% for scope 3, compared to 2021.

Our consumers

We design safe products, conceived for the modern-day home, prioritising painstakingly selected ingredients and minimising their impact.

Firm believers of the effectiveness of naturally derived ingredients, we develop formulas that are rigorously tested, omitting controversial substances and offering products that are certified to recognised standards. With a tool to calculate the environmental impact of our products, we work every day to reduce their impact, as well as assimilating ecodesign at every stage and rallying our partners to motivate a coalition working for more responsible cleaning and maintenance.
